Cold & Flu Tea

Cold & Flu tea is a combination of herbs especially conceives to relieve cold and flu symptoms. It reduces runny nose, congestion, cough and fever as well as reducing the virulence of the infection. This tea is both pleasing and efficient as it fights many aspects of the infection: its antiviral properties reduce the strength of the virus (elder), an immune stimulant increases the immune response (echinacea), its astringent action increases the integrity of the mucus membrane (red raspberry), and reduces congestion and nasal drip (bayberry). Cold & Flu Tea is also an expectorant, mucolxtic, and diaphoretic (peppermint, elder).

Contra-Indications: Consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, incases of auto-immune or degenerative disease, anemia or gallstones. Do not use during the first trimester of pregnancy. Discontinue use if gastrointestinal problems occur.
