    2. Protect Your Crown: Steer clear of direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least a few days before your treatment. UV exposure can increase sensitivity and disrupt the healing process.

    3. Pause the Sweat: Refrain from intense exercise or cardio sessions in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment. Excess heat and sweat can make the scalp more reactive.

    4. Keep it Cool: Avoid hot showers, spas, and saunas before your treatment. A calm, cool scalp is best for receiving this advanced care.

    5. No Tattoos: Please hold off on any tattooing, including cosmetic tattoos near the treatment area prior to your appointment.

    You’ve just given your scalp and follicles a scientifically backed boost toward healthier, fuller hair. Now it’s time to protect and enhance those results with a few intentional aftercare steps.

    First 24–48 Hours:

    1. Cleanse with Care: You may gently wash your hair 24 hours after your treatment. Avoid hot water—think calm and soothing.

    2. Hands Off: Try not to touch, scratch, or pick at the treated area. Your scalp is healing and renewing beneath the surface.

    3. Pause the Heat & Sweat: Avoid sweating, intense workouts, saunas, and hot yoga for at least 24 hours. Give your follicles the rest they deserve.

    4. Sun Protection: Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for 48–72 hours. A wide-brimmed hat is a stylish and smart choice during this healing window.

    5. Skip Harsh Products: Avoid alcohol-based shampoos or conditioners, which can be drying or irritating.

    Days 2–7: Build Your Ritual

    1. Gentle, Targeted Care: Begin washing your hair with EXO-GROW Shampoo & Conditioner—formulated to support post-treatment recovery and hydration.

    2. Nourish Daily: Apply EXO-GROW Tonic once or twice daily to stimulate and feed the follicles as they grow stronger.

    3. Deep Hydration: Use the EXO-GROW Scalp Mask 1–2 times a week to deeply nourish, soothe, and restore your scalp.

    4. Balance & Recharge: If recommended, use the EXO-GROW Colour Recharge Bar to maintain a healthy scalp environment.

    5. Hold Off on Chemical Treatments: Avoid hair colouring or other chemical treatments for at least 7 days post-treatment. Let your scalp fully recover and absorb the benefits.

  • Most clients describe the sensation as mild or slightly tingly. You may feel a gentle prickling or warmth on the scalp during the microneedling process. A numbing solution can be used to enhance comfort, and we’ll check in with you every step of the way.
