Microneedling
Microneedling is a regenerative skin treatment designed to improve texture, tone, and overall skin resilience by activating your body’s natural repair systems. Using controlled micro-channels, this treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production, helping skin rebuild itself from the inside out. The result is smoother, firmer, more even-looking skin that continues to improve over time.
At Bare Ur Beauty, we use the advanced DP4™ microneedling system, allowing for faster treatment, greater precision, and deeper delivery of active serums to support visible, lasting results for your face and body.
How It Works
Microneedling works by creating thousands of microscopic, vertical channels in the skin using sterile, medical-grade needles. These micro-injuries signal your body to initiate repair, increasing the production of collagen and elastin, two proteins essential for strong, youthful skin.
The DP4™ pen allows for up to 104 percent faster treatment than traditional microneedling devices, making the process more precise and gentler on the skin. These channels also allow up to 80 percent greater absorption of topical serums, enhancing the effectiveness of hyaluronic acid, growth factors, or exosomes applied during treatment.
Over time, skin becomes firmer, smoother, and more resilient, with continued improvement seen for months after your final session.

To ensure you get the most luxurious and effective experience, please take these steps in preparation:
Pause active skincare: Discontinue retinoids, exfoliating acids, and topical antibiotics 5–7 days prior to treatment to reduce irritation and support optimal healing.
Support natural healing: Avoid anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen for at least three days before treatment, as inflammation is a necessary part of collagen stimulation.
Protect your skin: Avoid sun exposure, tanning, IPL, or laser treatments for two weeks prior to your session.
Prepare the treatment area: Avoid waxing or hair removal creams 5–7 days before treatment. If shaving is needed, do so the day before, not the day of.
Plan ahead for cold sores: If prone to outbreaks, begin antiviral medication two days before and the day of treatment.
Time injectable treatments appropriately: Treatments can be performed 2 weeks after Botox or fillers. We suggest a 2-week window for full healing from any invasive skin procedure before starting these treatments.

Now it’s time to pamper your skin as it recovers and reveals its radiance. Follow these steps to empower your results.
Let your skin do the work: Avoid anti-inflammatory medications, ice, arnica, or bromelain for one week, as they can interfere with the natural repair process.
Use gentle care: Cleanse with a gentle cleanser the next day and keep skin well hydrated. Only mineral makeup should be used after 24 hours. Gently exfoliate on day 7.
Post-Care products: Every client receives a 7-day Epicutis Post-Procedure Kit and Mask, which can be either used immediately after treatment or taken home. We recommend purchasing an additional mask for the next day.
Keep you skin hydrated: Your skin absorbs 80% more product during this time; apply more product than usual during the first 1–4 days.
Protect your results: Avoid sun exposure for two weeks. After 24 hours, apply mineral SPF 30 or higher daily and wear protective clothing when outdoors.
Support comfort: It may feel like a mild sunburn. Only if necessary we suggest managing with acetaminophen.
Avoid heat and sweat: Skip intense exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs for 48 hours post-treatment.
Keep everything clean: Avoid touching your face. Be sure to use a new pillowcase, wash makeup brushes, phones, glasses, and anything that touches your face. And don’t let your pets lick your face,
Stay in touch: Contact us if you experience blistering, excessive redness, swelling, or prolonged discomfort. We will guide you on next steps and skincare reintroduction.

Days 1–3: Redness, tightness, and a sunburn-like sensation are common. Mild swelling or bruising may occur and typically resolves within several days.
Days 2–7: Light peeling or flaking may begin as skin turnover increases. Allow skin to shed naturally and avoid picking or scrubbing.
Days 5–7 and beyond: Once irritation has fully resolved, you may gradually return to your regular skincare routine. Continued improvements in texture, tone, and firmness will develop over the following weeks and months.

Downtime is minimal. Redness and sensitivity are expected for a few days, followed by light peeling as the skin renews itself.
