VIEW Skin Analysis at Bare Ur Beauty: A Deeper, More Measurable Look at Your Skin

“Healthy skin begins with understanding your skin. The VIEW Skin Analyzer doesn’t replace the knowledge of our Skin Experts, it gives us another layer of information, helps us show you what we see and allows us to track your progress over time.”

— Bare Ur Beauty Medical Spa + Wellness

Have you ever looked in the mirror and thought, Something about my skin has changed, but I can’t quite put my finger on it?

Maybe you’re experiencing more breakouts. Your skin may feel rougher, oilier, drier or more reactive than it once did. Perhaps your pigmentation seems more noticeable, or the products that used to work no longer seem to be giving you the same results.

Your skin can change gradually because of age, hormones, stress, health, medications, lifestyle, seasonal changes and the products you use. Sometimes those changes are easy to recognize. Other times, we need to look a little more closely.

That’s why we’ve added the VIEW Skin Analyzer to our BUB Skin Health Review.

Not because we were guessing before.

Because after more than 26 years of assessing and treating skin, we understand the value of combining experience with technology that lets us look deeper, document what we see and measure change more consistently.

Our Expertise Hasn’t Changed Our Tools Have Evolved

At Bare Ur Beauty, our approach has always been to understand your skin before recommending products or treatments.

Our Skin Experts already know how to assess texture, congestion, inflammation, barrier health, pigmentation, oil production and the many other clues your skin provides. We also know that a good consultation goes far beyond what we can see.

We ask about your health, medications, hormones, lifestyle, current products, past treatments and what has or hasn’t worked for you. We listen to your concerns and learn what you realistically have the time, budget and willingness to commit to.

The VIEW Skin Analyzer doesn’t replace any of that.

It adds another layer.

Through standardized facial imaging and different light modes, VIEW helps us examine several characteristics of the skin more closely. It also gives you a visual way to understand what your Skin Expert is explaining.

Instead of asking you to simply trust what we see, we can look at the images together.

More Than a Scan It Gives Us a Baseline

One of the most valuable reasons we invested in VIEW is the ability to establish a visual baseline.

Your first set of images gives us a documented starting point. When we repeat the analysis later, we can compare the images more consistently and look for changes over time.

This helps us answer important questions:

  • Is the treatment plan creating the changes we expected?

  • Is your pigmentation, redness, congestion or texture improving?

  • Is your skin becoming more reactive or inflamed?

  • Are your products supporting your skin barrier?

  • Are we seeing progress even if it feels difficult to notice day to day?

  • Does something in the plan need to be adjusted?

When you look at yourself every day, gradual improvements can be surprisingly hard to recognize. Side-by-side images can make those changes easier to see.

And if we aren’t seeing the progress we expected, that information is valuable too. It gives us an opportunity to ask better questions, review how consistently the plan has been followed and determine whether your home care or treatments need to change.

This isn’t about judging or catching anyone “doing something wrong.” It creates shared accountability between you and your Skin Expert and helps us make decisions based on more than memory or how your skin happens to look on one particular day.

What Can VIEW Help Us Assess?

Depending on the images and light modes used, VIEW can provide additional visual insight into characteristics such as:

  • Pigmentation and uneven tone

  • UV-related changes

  • Redness

  • Oil and sebaceous activity

  • Congestion

  • Pore appearance

  • Texture

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Areas of sensitivity or inflammation

The analysis does not diagnose medical skin conditions, and an image or software-generated score should never be interpreted on its own.

Your results still need context.

For example, redness may have several possible causes. Increased oil activity doesn’t tell us why that change is happening. Pigmentation can appear similar in an image while requiring very different treatment approaches.

That’s where your Skin Expert’s training and experience become essential.

Your Skin Expert Is Still Leading the Assessment

Technology can capture images, highlight patterns and compare information.

It can’t sit across from you and listen.

It doesn’t know that you recently entered menopause, changed medications, started using three new active products at once or stopped following your routine because your skin became irritated.

It can’t understand your lifestyle, your confidence, your past experiences or what you’re actually hoping to change.

And it cannot decide, on its own, what is safe or appropriate for your skin.

Your Skin Expert brings all the pieces together:

  • What we see and feel during the hands-on assessment

  • What the VIEW images help reveal or confirm

  • Your skin and health history

  • Your current home-care routine

  • Your lifestyle and level of commitment

  • Your concerns, priorities and budget

  • Our professional experience and knowledge

The scan provides information. Your Skin Expert interprets it and helps determine what it means for you.

That difference matters.

What Happens During a BUB Skin Health Review?

Your Skin Health Review begins with a conversation not a machine.

We’ll discuss your concerns, goals, current products, previous treatments, health history and any changes you’ve noticed.

Next, we capture your VIEW Skin Analysis images. Your Skin Expert will review them with you, explain what we’re seeing in plain language and connect those findings to the rest of your assessment.

We don’t want you leaving with a page of confusing scores and no idea what they mean. We want you to understand:

  • What we’re seeing

  • What may be contributing to it

  • What should be addressed first

  • What can wait

  • What your realistic options are

  • How we’ll evaluate progress

From there, we create your personalized BUB Plan. It may include home care, professional treatments, lifestyle considerations or a staged combination of approaches.

Not a generic system.

Not every treatment we offer.

And not a list of products simply because software recommended them.

A thoughtful plan built around your skin.

Seeing Progress - Not Chasing Perfection

Skin progress isn’t always perfectly linear.

Hormones change. Seasons change. Life happens. Sometimes your skin improves steadily, and sometimes it needs us to pause, reassess and adjust.

That’s why follow-up imaging can be so useful. It allows us to document changes under more standardized conditions and look at the bigger picture instead of reacting to one good or bad skin day.

The goal is not to chase a perfect score from a machine.

The goal is healthier, stronger and more resilient skin and a plan that continues making sense as your skin evolves.

Amy’s Perspective

“After more than 26 years in aesthetics, I didn’t invest in the VIEW Skin Analyzer because my team and I didn’t know how to assess skin. I invested in it because I believe our clients deserve the benefit of both experience and evolving technology.

Our eyes, hands, education and conversations still matter enormously. VIEW helps us take that knowledge one step further. It can support what we’re already seeing, provide additional insight and help us explain it in a way that makes sense to you.

What excites me most is the ability to create a baseline and track progress. We no longer have to rely only on memory or ask, ‘Do you think it looks better?’ We can compare your images, review what has changed and have an honest conversation about whether your plan is working or whether we need to adjust it.

It also gives you a role in the process. You can see your progress, understand why consistency matters and feel more connected to the decisions we make together.

The technology is impressive, but it’s the combination of the technology, our experience and your involvement that creates the real value.

That is The BUB Way: education, honesty and a plan that makes sense for your skin.”
