Preparing your skin properly helps ensure the best results and a smoother healing experience.

1. Pause active skincare the week before: Discontinue the use of active ingredients such as AHA, BHA, salicylic acid, retinol or vitamin A, low pH vitamin C, and any exfoliating or stimulating products. This allows your skin barrier to be calm and receptive to treatment.

2. Focus on hydration: Keep your skin well hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment to support resilience and recovery.

3. Stop exfoliation: Avoid exfoliating products for at least 24 hours before your appointment.

4. Avoid tanning and UV exposure: Do not use self-tanning products or intentionally expose your skin to UV light for 14 days prior to treatment.

5. Pause hair removal: Avoid waxing, bleaching, or other hair removal methods in the treatment area for 14 days before your appointment.

6. Review medications: If you are taking blood thinners, aspirin, or other medications, you may be required to obtain GP approval prior to treatment.

7. Avoid alcohol: Do not consume alcohol for 24 hours prior to treatment.

8. Arrive with clean skin: On the day of your appointment, please arrive without makeup or skincare applied to the treatment area.

9. Time injectable treatments appropriately: If you are planning Botox or dermal fillers, allow at least two weeks after those treatments before receiving NOON Peel.

10. Share your health history: Let us know about any changes to your health.

1. Expect temporary sensitivity: Immediately following treatment, your skin may feel more sensitive than usual, warm or slightly flushed. This is a normal part of the renewal process and will fade after a day or 2.

2. Cleanse gently for after the first 24 hours: Use a gentle cleanser for the next 48 with tepid water and gently pat dry. and Avoid heat, friction, or scrubbing.

3. Pause makeup and sunscreen for at least 24 hours: Avoid applying makeup or sunscreen for the first 24 hours after the procedure.

4. Avoid non-mineral makeup for at least 48 hours : Do not apply non-mineral makeup for 48 hours following treatment to allow the skin to breathe and heal.

5. Avoid applying makeup with brushes: Do not apply makeup using brushes, especially if they are not new or freshly cleaned, to reduce the risk of irritation or bacteria transfer.

6. Post-Care products: Adhere to the skincare regimen that was prescribed to you by your skincare professional. Failing to comply with the home-care regimen may increase the risk of side effects and reduce the overall results. Do not apply any unauthorized product on the treated area, as it may cause adverse reactions.

7. Avoid anti-inflammatory medications: Do not take anti-inflammatory medications for at least two weeks post treatment unless directed by your healthcare provider.

8. Keep skin well hydrated: Apply a gentle moisturizer or hydrating booster to support barrier repair and comfort.

9. Commit to sun protection: After 24 hours, apply a broad-spectrum UVA and UVB mineral sunscreen with a minimum SPF 30 daily for at least two weeks to protect your skin and your results.

10. Avoid heat and sweat: Skip intense exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs for 48 hours post-treatment.

11. Keep everything clean: Avoid touching your face. Be sure to use a new pillowcase, wash makeup brushes, phones, glasses, and anything that touches your face. And don’t let your pets lick your face.

12. Other treatments: Allow your skin to heal for 2 weeks after treatment (or as instructed by your skincare professional), and do not perform any other aesthetic treatment/procedure in the area during that time.

13. Stay in touch: Contact us if you experience excessive redness, itchiness, pain, skin flaking or any other side effect for more than 5 days after treatment, contact your skincare professional for further advice.

The NOON Chemical Peel is a professional, medical-grade peel that uses advanced acids combined with DermShield technology to correct skin concerns safely and effectively without the irritation associated with traditional peels.

For best results, a series of three to six peels, spaced about three weeks apart, is recommended. Your provider will guide you based on your skin goals.

You may experience mild tingling or warmth during the treatment. This sensation is expected and temporary. DermShield technology significantly reduces discomfort compared to traditional peels.

Yes, mild to moderate peeling or flaking is normal, usually starting around day two or three and lasting up to seven to ten days. This process, called desquamation, is part of healthy skin renewal.

There is minimal downtime, but you should expect visible flaking and increased sun sensitivity. Social downtime is usually manageable with proper care.

Chemical peels are performed only during late fall and winter months due to increased sun sensitivity following treatment.

If any of the below apply, a NOON treatment can not be perfomed:

• Pregnancy

• Current or history of Cancer, especially skin cancer, or pre-malignant moles in the treatment area

• Any active condition in the treatment area, such as Herpes simplex, sores, irritation, active infections, psoriasis, eczema, rash, or open wounds

• Use of Accutane, Retin- A, or or other medications that exfoliate or thin the skin within the last 6 months

• History of keloid scarring, abnormal wound healing, as well as very dry and fragile skin

• Recent cosmetic injectables (Botox and fillers) within the last 2 weeks

• Major or unprotected sun exposure 5-7 days prior

• Use of active ingredients 3-5 days prior (glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, retinols or any topical prescription creams
