Dermaplaning Facial
The Dermaplaning Facial is one of our most loved treatments for a reason. This gentle, noninvasive exfoliation method, suitable for most skin types, removes dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) using a specialized surgical blade, unveiling smoother, brighter skin instantly. Think of this as your glow-up ritual—refreshing, rejuvenating, and undeniably radiant.
Here’s how it works:
Your experienced aesthetician will safely exfoliate and refine your skin with a surgical blade, removing dull, dead skin cells and peach fuzz. This is followed by customized serums and nourishing creams for a soft glow.
It’s a perfect reset for your complexion, allowing skincare to penetrate more deeply and makeup to glide on effortlessly.

After Your Facial: Protect the Glow
You’ve just given your skin the gift of deep renewal—now it’s time to honour that glow and help your skin continue to heal, hydrate, and shine from within.
Take a Break: Give your skin time to rest and absorb the goodness from your treatment, skip washing your face today. Tomorrow, keep your skincare simple and nourishing.
Cool and Calm: If your skin feels warm or flushed, you can splash with cool water, apply a collagen mask, or gently press cold, damp flannels to the skin. This helps reduce redness and calm sensitivity.
Hydrate From the Inside Out: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to support your skin’s natural healing and keep your glow going strong.
Gentle is Golden: Avoid exfoliants, retinols, or active ingredients for at least 48 hours. Your skin is already polished and perfect, now it’s time to protect it.
No Makeup, Please: Let your skin breathe for at least 24 hours before applying foundation or heavier makeup. If you must apply something, opt for lightweight, non-comedogenic formulas, and make sure your brushes are clean.
Skip the Sweat: Avoid the gym, intense exercise, and anything that causes sweating for at least 24 hours. Your skin is more sensitive post-treatment, and excess heat and sweat can cause irritation.
Keep it Cool: No heat treatments—this includes saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds, or extended sun exposure. Give your skin a chance to recover in peace, away from the heat.
Avoid Swimming & Chlorine: Hold off on swimming for at least 24–48 hours. Chlorinated water can be harsh on freshly exfoliated skin.
Say No to Perfume and Fake Tan: Avoid perfumed skincare, mists, or sprays directly on the face, and skip self-tanner for at least 3–5 days. Your skin is ultra-absorbent right now and needs only the gentlest ingredients.
No Picking, Ever: We get it—it’s tough. But picking at your skin, especially post-dermaplaning, can lead to irritation, scarring, or breakouts. Trust your skin to heal beautifully on its own.
Glow Is a Journey: While you’ll enjoy an immediate softness and radiance, dermaplaning works even better with consistency and care. Nourish your skin daily, and think of this treatment as one part of a holistic beauty and wellness ritual.
Be good to yourself!

Before Your Facial: Prepare to Glow
Your journey to radiant skin begins before you step into the treatment room. These thoughtful pre-care rituals will help you arrive feeling confident and ready to receive the full benefits of your facial.
Tune In to Your Skin: Take a moment to connect with your skin. What do you love about it? What would you like to refine or renew? Knowing this helps us personalize your treatment with care and purpose.
Know What You’re Using: Your at-home skincare routine plays a beautiful role in your skin’s overall health. We may ask about the products you use, so feel free to bring a list or snap a photo.
Hold Off on Hair Removal: Avoid shaving or waxing for 48 hours before your appointment. This allows your skin to be calm and ready to receive nourishing care.
Sun-Kissed, Not Sun-Stressed: Please steer clear of tanning beds and limit sun exposure for at least one week before your facial. This ensures your skin isn’t sensitized when you arrive.
Ease Up on Exfoliation: In the 2–3 days leading up to your facial, avoid strong exfoliants. We’ll take care of that during your treatment, and overdoing it beforehand can leave your skin vulnerable.
Frequently Asked Questions

Facials are more than just pampering—they’re powerful. They support cell turnover, improve hydration, target concerns like acne, dullness, and pigmentation, and boost circulation for a radiant glow. Beyond the skin, facials also offer deep relaxation and a moment to reconnect with yourself.

Think of facials as a vital part of your wellness ritual. For most skin types, every 4–6 weeks aligns beautifully with your skin’s natural renewal cycle. We’ll help you create a schedule that keeps your skin glowing, resilient, and balanced.
-
Yes, and you absolutely should. Our treatments are always customized with care and integrity. Whether your skin is feeling sensitive, inflamed, or experiencing breakouts, we’ll support it with calming, healing ingredients designed to nourish and restore—never to overwhelm.
-
To get the most out of your experience, avoid tanning, waxing, and exfoliating acids (like retinols or glycolic/salicylic acid) for 48 hours before your appointment. Come hydrated, and if you can, reflect on how your skin’s been feeling lately—this insight helps us curate your treatment.
-
Each facial is a personalized ritual. You can expect a deep cleanse, gentle exfoliation, extractions (if needed), nourishing masks, massage, and targeted skincare products—all chosen with your unique skin in mind. It’s your time to relax, renew, and indulge in a moment of self-love.
-
Not at all! Some treatments, like extractions or deeper exfoliation, may cause mild discomfort, but we always work within your comfort level. Your facial should feel relaxing, refreshing, and nurturing—never harsh or invasive.
-
We recommend scheduling your facial at least 5–7 days before your event. This allows time for your skin to fully settle and reveal its most radiant glow. If your treatment includes extractions or exfoliation, your skin may need a few days to calm.
-
Absolutely. We offer pregnancy-safe facials designed to support your skin’s changing needs during this beautiful time. Let us know you’re expecting, and we’ll ensure all products and techniques used are completely safe and supportive for both you and baby.
-
It’s possible. Sometimes, facials help bring impurities to the surface, especially if your skin is congested. This is part of the detoxification process, and it’s temporary. Think of it as your skin purging what it no longer needs, making space for clarity and renewal.
-
We recommend letting your skin rest and wait until the following day. This allows all the healing and hydrating ingredients we’ve applied to fully absorb and work their magic. After that, stick to a gentle, nourishing cleanser for a few days.
-
If you can, give your skin a 24-hour break from makeup. Your pores are fresh and open, and this is the perfect time to let your skin breathe, heal, and bask in its natural glow. If you must wear makeup, use clean brushes and opt for non-comedogenic, breathable products.
-
Your skin just received a beautiful reset—give it a little space to recover. Avoid intense workouts, saunas, or steam rooms for 24–48 hours post-treatment to reduce irritation and preserve that radiant post-facial finish.
-
For most facials, downtime is minimal to none. You may experience slight redness or sensitivity, especially if we’ve performed extractions or deep exfoliation, but this typically fades within a few hours. We’ll always guide you through exactly what to expect post-treatment.
-
Great skin is a journey, not a single destination. After your facial, we’ll recommend products and rituals to support your skin’s healing and long-term glow. Hydration, gentle cleansing, SPF, and consistency are key to maintaining that luminous post-treatment finish.
