Preparing your skin properly helps ensure the best results and a smoother healing experience.

• Pause active skincare the week before: Discontinue the use of active ingredients such as AHA, BHA, salicylic acid, retinol or vitamin A, low pH vitamin C, and any exfoliating or stimulating products. This allows your skin barrier to be calm and receptive to treatment.

• Focus on hydration: Keep your skin well hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment to support resilience and recovery.

• Stop exfoliation: Avoid exfoliating products for at least 24 hours before your appointment.

• Avoid tanning and UV exposure: Do not use self-tanning products or intentionally expose your skin to UV light for 14 days prior to treatment.

• Pause hair removal: Avoid waxing, bleaching, or other hair removal methods in the treatment area for 14 days before your appointment.

• Review medications: If you are taking blood thinners, aspirin, or other medications, you may be required to obtain GP approval prior to treatment.

• Avoid alcohol: Do not consume alcohol for 24 hours prior to treatment.

• Arrive with clean skin: On the day of your appointment, please arrive without makeup or skincare applied to the treatment area.

• Time injectable treatments appropriately: If you are planning Botox or dermal fillers, allow at least two weeks after those treatments before receiving BioRePeel.

• Expect temporary sensitivity: Immediately following treatment, your skin may feel more sensitive than usual, warm or slightly flushed. This is a normal part of the renewal process and will fade after a day or 2.

• Cleanse gently for after the first 24 hours: Use a gentle cleanser for the next 48 with tepid water and gently pat dry. and Avoid heat, friction, or scrubbing.

• Pause makeup and sunscreen for at least 24 hours: Avoid applying makeup or sunscreen for the first 24 hours after the procedure.

• Avoid non-mineral makeup for at least 48 hours : Do not apply non-mineral makeup for 48 hours following treatment to allow the skin to breathe and heal.

• Avoid applying makeup with brushes: Do not apply makeup using brushes, especially if they are not new or freshly cleaned, to reduce the risk of irritation or bacteria transfer.

• Avoid anti-inflammatory medications: Do not take anti-inflammatory medications for at least two weeks post treatment unless directed by your healthcare provider.

• Keep skin well hydrated: Apply a gentle moisturizer or hydrating booster to support barrier repair and comfort.

• Commit to sun protection: After 24 hours, apply a broad-spectrum UVA and UVB mineral sunscreen with a minimum SPF 30 daily for at least two weeks to protect your skin and your results.
