Bare Ur Beauty Beginnings Facial
If you’re new to skincare, feeling overwhelmed by products, or simply unsure what your skin truly needs, this is the perfect place to start. This comprehensive 90-minute experience begins with an in-depth Skin Health Review, followed by a fully customized facial designed around your skin’s unique needs.
How It Works:
We’ll begin with a one-on-one Skin Health Review to understand your skin’s story, your concerns, goals, lifestyle, and what’s been working (or not). Whether you’re dealing with breakouts, dehydration, signs of aging, sensitivity, or simply want to elevate your self-care routine, our expert estheticians will take the time to understand your skin and create a personalized approach tailored to its unique needs.
Then, we’ll move into a luxurious facial treatment using professional, medical-grade skincare selected specifically for your skin. Your treatment may include gentle exfoliation, soothing masks, deep hydration, targeted serums, massage, and more, all thoughtfully chosen to help support healthy, balanced, radiant skin.
At Bare Ur Beauty, we believe great skin care starts with understanding your skin, not simply treating what you see on the surface.

A FEW QUESTIONS WE GET ALL THE TIME
-
Before Your Facial: Prepare to Glow
Your journey to radiant skin begins before you step into the treatment room. These thoughtful pre-care rituals will help you arrive feeling confident and ready to receive the full benefits of your facial.
Tune In to Your Skin: Take a moment to connect with your skin. What do you love about it? What would you like to refine or renew? Knowing this helps us personalize your treatment with care and purpose.
Know What You’re Using: Your at-home skincare routine plays a beautiful role in your skin’s overall health. We may ask about the products you use, so feel free to bring a list or snap a photo.
Hold Off on Hair Removal: Avoid shaving or waxing for 48 hours before your appointment. This allows your skin to be calm and ready to receive nourishing care.
Sun-Kissed, Not Sun-Stressed: Please steer clear of tanning beds and limit sun exposure for at least one week before your facial. This ensures your skin isn’t sensitized when you arrive.
Ease Up on Exfoliation: In the 2–3 days leading up to your facial, avoid strong exfoliants. We’ll take care of that during your treatment, and overdoing it beforehand can leave your skin vulnerable.
-
After Your Facial: Protect the Glow
You’ve just given your skin the gift of deep renewal. Now it’s time to honour that glow and help your skin continue to heal, hydrate, and shine from within.
Take a Break: Give your skin time to rest and absorb the goodness from your treatment. Skip washing your face today. Tomorrow, keep your skincare simple and nourishing.
Drink Up: Staying hydrated supports overall skin health and can help your skin feel comfortable after treatment. Continue drinking water throughout the day as you normally would.
Gentle is Golden: Give your skin time to rest and absorb the goodness from your treatment. Keep your skincare simple and supportive, nourishing rather than stripping.
Skip the Scrub: Avoid exfoliating products unless we’ve recommended one specifically. Your skin is doing important behind the scenes work, so let it.
Hands Off, Beautiful: We know it’s tempting, but try not to touch your face. Keeping your hands away prevents irritation and helps your results last longer.
No Picking, Please: We get it, it’s tough! But picking post facial can lead to redness, irritation, and even scarring. Trust your skin to release what it no longer needs naturally.
Wait to Wax: Give your skin 48 hours before waxing again. Let it stay calm and soothed after your facial.
Keep Makeup Light: Your skin may be more sensitive immediately after treatment. If possible, avoid foundation or heavier makeup for 24 hours, especially following exfoliation or extractions. When you resume makeup, use clean brushes and non comedogenic products.
Enjoy a Rest Day: Heat and perspiration may increase temporary redness or sensitivity. If your treatment included exfoliation or extractions, avoid intense exercise, saunas and steam rooms for 24 hours, or follow the specific aftercare provided by your BUB aesthetician.
Temporary Changes: Mild redness, sensitivity or an occasional breakout can happen after certain treatments, particularly when exfoliation or extractions are involved. This should not automatically be considered ‘purging.’ Please contact us if a reaction is painful, persistent, worsening or unexpected.
Reach Out! If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. If you have amazing results, we’d love to hear about them too!
One of the key things to remember about any treatment is that there is no quick fix.
Facials, like any other beauty treatment, should be thought of as one part of a wider regimen. What you eat, how much water you drink, and your daily skincare routine will all contribute to the overall success of your treatment.
-
Facials are more than just pampering. They’re powerful. They support cell turnover, improve hydration, target concerns like acne, dullness, and pigmentation, and boost circulation for a radiant glow. Beyond the skin, facials also offer deep relaxation and a moment to reconnect with yourself.
-
Absolutely. Great skin knows no gender. Our facials are fully customizable and tailored to individual skin needs, whether it’s oil control, hydration, sensitivity, or just some much needed self care.
-
Every skin is beautifully unique, and so are your goals. During your visit, we’ll take the time to assess your skin, listen to your concerns, and craft a facial experience tailored just for you, whether you’re looking for hydration, clarity, radiance, or rejuvenation.
-
Think of facials as a vital part of your wellness ritual. For most skin types, every 4–6 weeks aligns beautifully with your skin’s natural renewal cycle. We’ll help you create a schedule that keeps your skin glowing, resilient, and balanced.
-
Often, yes but it depends on what is causing the sensitivity or inflammation. We will assess your skin before beginning and customize the treatment accordingly. If your skin is experiencing significant irritation, an active flare, infection or a compromised barrier, we may modify or postpone treatment to protect your skin.
-
To get the most out of your experience, avoid tanning, waxing, and exfoliating acids like retinols or glycolic or salicylic acid for 48 hours before your appointment. Come hydrated, and if you can, reflect on how your skin’s been feeling lately. This insight helps us curate your treatment.
-
Not at all! Some treatments, like extractions or deeper exfoliation, may cause mild discomfort, but we always work within your comfort level. Your facial should feel relaxing, refreshing, and nurturing, never harsh or invasive.
-
Each facial is a personalized ritual. You can expect a deep cleanse, gentle exfoliation, extractions if needed, nourishing masks, massage, and targeted skincare products, all chosen with your unique skin in mind. It’s your time to relax, renew, and indulge in a moment of self love.
-
We recommend scheduling your facial at least 5–7 days before your event. This allows time for your skin to fully settle and reveal its most radiant glow. If your treatment includes extractions or exfoliation, your skin may need a few days to calm.
-
Many gentle facials can be adapted during pregnancy, but not every ingredient, treatment or device is appropriate. Please tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding so we can review your products and customize your treatment. When needed, we may recommend confirming suitability with your healthcare provider
-
A temporary breakout can occasionally happen, particularly when the skin was already congested or extractions were performed. It is not a sign that your skin is “detoxing.” If breakouts are persistent, painful or unusual for your skin, please contact the BUB team so we can guide you.
-
We recommend letting your skin rest and wait until the following day. This allows all the healing and hydrating ingredients we’ve applied to fully absorb and work their magic. After that, stick to a gentle, nourishing cleanser for a few days.
-
Your skin may be more sensitive after treatment. If possible, give it a 24-hour break from makeup. If makeup is necessary, choose non-comedogenic products and apply them with clean brushes or tools.
-
Your skin just received a beautiful reset. Give it a little space to recover. Avoid intense workouts, saunas, or steam rooms for 24 to 48 hours post treatment to reduce irritation and preserve that radiant post facial finish.
-
For most facials, downtime is minimal to none. You may experience slight redness or sensitivity, especially if we’ve performed extractions or deep exfoliation, but this typically fades within a few hours. We’ll always guide you through exactly what to expect post-treatment.
-
Great skin is a journey, not a single destination. After your facial, we’ll recommend products and rituals to support your skin’s healing and long-term glow. Hydration, gentle cleansing, SPF, and consistency are key to maintaining that luminous post-treatment finish.
