Angioma Removal

Angiomas are small, benign growths made up of tiny blood vessels. They can appear anywhere on the body and are often noticed as little red or purple spots. The three most common types are cherry angiomas (small red or purple spots), spider angiomas (web-like blood vessels under the skin), and angiokeratomas (dark, raised vascular spots). While harmless, many choose cosmetic removal for a smoother, clearer appearance or peace of mind. At Bare Ur Beauty, we safely remove angiomas using advanced laser technology for effective cosmetic results.

How It Works

Using precise Cutera laser technology, we target the angioma. The laser energy seals off the small blood vessels, which prevents further blood flow.  A short session is all it takes; over time, the treated angiomas are naturally absorbed by your body, leaving the surrounding skin smooth and even.

Frequently Asked Questions

    1. Know Your Skin: Take a moment to notice the area to be treated. Are there any sensitivities or recent irritation? Let us know so we can tailor your treatment.

    2. Skip Blood Thinners: Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (like ibuprofen) or supplements that increase bruising, unless approved by your healthcare provider.

    3. Protect from the Sun: Limit direct sun exposure for at least one week prior to treatment. Sun-stressed skin can be more sensitive during laser treatment.

    4. Share your health history: Please inform us of any fillers or Botox, prescribed medications, medical conditions, permanent makeup, or surgical or metal implants in the treatment area. This allows us to customize treatment safely.

    1. Keep it Clean: Gently cleanse the treated area; avoid scrubbing or harsh products.

    2. Hands Off: Avoid touching, picking, or scratching the treated spot. Your skin is doing the healing work!

    3. Sun Protection is Key: Apply sunscreen generously if the area will be exposed. This helps prevent pigmentation changes.

    4. Expect Temporary Changes: Mild redness, bruising, or slight colour changes are normal and usually resolve within 1–3 weeks.

    5. Stay in touch: Contact us if you experience excessive redness, swelling, or prolonged discomfort. We will guide you on next steps and skincare reintroduction.

  • You may feel a mild pinch or warmth during treatment, which is brief and well-tolerated.

  • It typically takes 1 to 3 weeks for angiomas to heal after treatment. The area may darken or change colour initially, which is a normal part of the healing process, and will gradually return to its natural tone.

  • Most angiomas are resolved in a single session. If it is a larger or deeper lesion, a second session may be required about 6-8 weeks later.

  • Treated spots are permanently removed, but new angiomas can appear elsewhere over time.

  • Yes, our laser technology works safely across all skin tones.
